Qualifying Sail Details

We departed Richmon YC at 0930 May 23, started the Spinnaker Cup yesterday morning and sailed south in the race until the wind started to die then turned north. We spend the rest of the day doing sail trials between Montara and Drakes Bay, then finally headed out to abeam the Farallon Islands and turned for home. Total time will be about 24 hours, total miles about 160 nm

Crew onboard was Gilles Combrisson, Mark JOrdan, Ron Tostensen, Drake Baldwin, Ken Haas, Eliot Shiffman. 

Winds were between 7 kts and 22 kts. Conditions clear. Seas up to maybe 5' in the early part of the 23rd, but dropped during the evening into the morning of the 24th
